2009 Fall Trace Information
9/4/2009
It is time once again to make our way back to the beautiful camp at Heartland. We will have two days of fun
and frivolity before we have to suffer the ravages of another Ohio winter. I look forward to seeing all my
FCF brothers again. We will even have a chance to meet some prospective new members that may be
coming in this spring.
If you went to Territorial Rendezvous you already know that the Coureur de Bois Chapter made for a great
showing and I believe everyone had a fantastic time and the weather was great up until the last day and
then the Lord decided we was all a little too smelly to go home in that condition, so he provided a nice
shower to freshen us up for the trip home. Jim Barger our Regional Director was the guest speaker and
delivered an excellent message each night. Dalton Rose, was elected as our new National Scout and
Anthony Hembree came in a close second placing him as the new Territorial Scout. You can get more
information about Rendezvous at the Voyager Territory website (http://voyagerterritory.com/).
Young Bucks, get ready for the events. We'll have great prizes as always and might even throw in a couple
new events that we picked up from Spring Trace, Pow Wow and Rendezvous.
This fall we’re offering the lantern craft class again. The class should be relatively short probably 1 to 1.5
hours. The cost for this class will be $20 per person. We are limiting class sizes to 25 people, though we
may have a few more that we can squeeze in. The class will be held on Saturday morning. Payment will be
received at the time of the class. In order to sign up for the class you must send an e-mail to
johnhembree@fuse.net with a list of names of all those attending. Cut-off for pre-registration will be Wed.
Oct. 7th. Seating will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. If sign-up is low it will be offered during
registration as well, but you’re not guaranteed a seat at that time.
